Cary, N.C. (Nov. 11, 2024)- In the first CIAA Event of the season the VSU Bowling team performed well in the three-day event. 

In the first day of the event Mackenzie Miller knocked down a total of 745 pins which was just ahead of Janaya Ward at 742. In total the Trojans went 2-3 with wins over Virginia Union and Elizabeth City State.  

On Day two the Trojans once again defeated ECSU 605-545 in the first match of the day. Then in the baker system matches VSU once again defeated the Vikings and dropped a close game to Virginia Union 668-639.  

The team will be back in action this weekend in the Coppin State Lady Eagles Invitational.
