Durham, N.C. (May 3, 2025)- The Virginia State University women's track and field team ended CIAA Championships in fourth place scoring 57.5 points. 

Kenedy Shields placed second in the women's high jump with a mark of 1.60 meter. Janiya Harmon scored in the discus throw with a throw of 37.36 meters. 

The 4x100 relay team placed first with a time of 46.98 seconds. Rose Wanjuri Muturi repeated as the 3000-meter run champion with a time of 10:48.39.
