NORFOLK, VA-
Emoni Coleman recorded two top ten finishes and several Trojans on the Virginia State University Women's Outdoor Track and Field team recorded personal records at the Spartan Invitational at NSU.

Emoni Coleman ran a season-best of 4:59.13 in the 1500m finishing third overall. The Atlanta, GA native recorded a time of 2:19 in the 800m finishing tenth. She leads the CIAA in the 1500m and 800m
Manuelene Deigh captured a third-place finish recording a time of 20:30.74 in the 5000m run. She also ran a personal best in the 1500m with a 5:13.95 to finish 14
th overall.
Manuela Deigh ran the 5000m finishing fifth overall with a 21:02.63, she also ran a personal best of 5:13 in the 1500m run to finish 13
th overall.
The Trojans recorded a pair of sixth place finishes after
Alandina Hyppolite ran a personal best in the 1500m with a 5:02.93 and
Ruby Williams ran a season-best in the 5000m with a 22:25.87.
Two Trojans placed in the top ten of their respective field events.
Aanya Howard finished fifth overall in the high jump with a season- best jump 1.57m (5'1).
Janiya Harmon finished seventh overall in the discus throw with a personal best throw of 36.95m (121'2). She also finished seventh in the Javelin throw with a personal best mark of 29.23m (95'10).
The Trojans will be back in action on Saturday, April 22 at Morgan State University for the Morgan State Legacy Meet in Baltimore, MD.
