The Trojans have yet to take down the Golden Eagles as they are 0-2 against them in matchups dating back to 2013. The Trojans average just 2 runs against DE but look to earn their turn their luck around in the midweek matchups.
The Trojans Softball team struggled hitting the ball their last time out, after they allowed a perfect game to be thrown against them in the first game of their doubleheader against Charleston. In the second game, the Trojans were able to gather three hits in the contest two of them being off the bat of
Nia Hall.
About Davis & Elkins Softball
The Senators started the season dropping eight of their first nine games. That being said, Davis & Elkins has won their last three games. maintain a .270 team batting average and have five players with at least 30 at-bats to maintain a .300 or better in the batter's box. DE maintains just a 5.34 ERA as a team with 40 strikeouts and 60 walks. Linzey Allard leads the team with a .423 batting average with 14 runs batted in and 22 hits. Saylor Kneeland has a team-high 5.34 ERA while Vanessa Hunt leads with 20 strikeouts.
