ETTRICK, Va. --The Virginia State Trojans were not able to notch a run against Bowie State pitcher Sydney Seals on Friday despite recording five hits and were shut out 10-0 by the Bulldogs.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Trailing 2-0, the Trojans first put runs on the board in the first inning. Emma Fleming's run-scoring single highlighted a two-run inning for Virginia State.
The score stayed at 2-2 until the third inning, when the Trojans put runs on the scoreboard once again. Mylia Knight's run-scoring single highlighted an inning where Virginia State scored twice, which brought the score to 4-2 in favor of the Trojans.
