Ettrick, Va. (Dec 8, 2023)- The Virginia State University men's basketball team travels to conference opponent Fayetteville State for a non-conference matchup.  

VSU last game was a 77-73 victory over SAU in overtime. Jared Clawson scored 17 points that game, including nine in the extra period. Tremere Brown and Kendall Bynum both average 11 points for the Trojans. Imhotep George and Tyrek Williams both average eight points for the next highest score on the team. 

Fayetteville State last game was against the Trojans a week ago, 72-62. The Broncos have three different players averaging double figures with Tyler Foster leading the way with 13.2 ppg. FSU blocks on average two shots per game. 

The game is scheduled for Saturday December 9 at 2 p.m.
