MURFREESBORO, NC- The Virginia State University softball team took a double loss (22-0, 8-0) to the Lady Hawks of Chowan University.

This was the second CIAA divisional matchup for the Trojans, the first for the Lady Hawks.

Rounding out the day with a 4-6 conference record, 2-2 in the division, VSU will regroup for their doubleheader contest against Elizabeth City State University on April 9. The first pitch will be at 12:30pm in Elizabeth City, NC.
