ETTRICK, Va.- As the 2017 CIAA Softball Championship quickly approaches, the Virginia State University softball team prepares for their final home game of the regular season on Saturday, April 29. The first pitch is set for 1pm at the VSU Softball Field.

The Trojans will enter the contest with a 7-6 conference record, while the Lady Bulldogs are 11-2 in the CIAA.

Alongside playing a doubleheader makeup game against the Lady Bulldogs of Bowie State University, the Trojans will have 5 seniors making their final VSU Softball appearance during the regular season at home. The seniors will be honored after game 1 of the dual contest.
