Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 ETTRICK, VA – The Virginia State University (VSU) softball team dropped two games to Barton College (BC) in a non-conference doubleheader Friday, March 13 on the campus of VSU.

Game  One – BC was able to score in the top of the second and third inning  to give them a 2-0 lead over VSU.  It was difficult for the Trojans to get on the board.  As the game came to a close, top of the seventh inning the Bulldogs were able to score three more runs.  Bottom of the seventh inning the Trojans were able to rally on two out and score three runs which wasn't enough to win the game, 5-3.
 
Game Two – BC scoring in every inning to give them 18 run over VSU with five runs to end the game in the bottom of the fifth inning, 18-5.
