Christopher Grier scored a season high of 20 points while teammates
Larry Savage secured 13 points and
Lamar Kearse with 10 points. Double digit scoring from the three Trojans was not enough to bring home the win, losing to the Bulldogs of Barton 87-68. This loss gives the Trojans a 7-4 overall record before going into the second half of the 2013-2014 season.
The Trojans will have to step up their game as they return to conference play on the road against the Broncos of Fayetteville on January 4 and the Bears of Shaw on January 6. The first home men's basketball game will be on January 9 against the Rams of Winston Salem State at 7:30pm.
