Sanford, N.C. (Mar. 24, 2026)- The Virginia State golf team participated in the CIAA Southern Division Tournament and placed fifth out of 10 teams. 

Christopher Baguma finished in third place at +5 overall. After the first round Baguma was tied for second at –1 overall. Alex Kangoo and Samuel Kozisek both tied for 28th place with a final score of +22. Roan Sidhu who played as an individual place just inside the top 50 at 46th place.  

As a team, the Trojans were +72 just three strokes away from Chowan for fourth place.
