Roanoke, W. Va. (Sept. 17, 2025)- The Virginia State Golf Team had two golfers finish in the top 30 and three in the top 50. As a team the Trojans shot +70 which was good for 10th overall.

Christopher Baguma finished the tournament at +11 overall which was good for 16th place. Lucas Ogden placed right at 30th with a score of +16 overall. Alex Kangoo who played as an individual, placed 47th with a score of +22. Baguma was tied for first in Par 5 scoring with 4.58 shots per hole and eagles scoring one. As a team VSU had the fourth most pars with 159. 

Virginia State will get ready for the Rodeo at the Ridge hosted by Fayetteville State on Monday September 22 through Tuesday September 23.
