Ettrick, Va. (Aug. 6, 2025) – Head Coach Anthony Andrews has officially released the 2025 schedule for the Virginia State University Women's Soccer program.
Last season, the Trojans went 1-10-4 in their second year of competition. Now entering their third season, VSU kicks things off at home against Emory & Henry University on September 6.
The Trojans will then hit the road for back-to-back matchups—first against Division I HBCU Hampton University on September 10, followed by a trip to Barton College on September 13.
Beginning September 17, VSU will host three games in a 10-day stretch at Rogers Stadium, welcoming Eastern Mennonite, King University (Tenn.), and Bluefield State.
Six of the following seven matches will be played on the road, with the lone home contest set for October 11 against Chowan University.
The regular season concludes with a two-game home stand—facing the University of Mount Olive on October 29 and Shaw University on November 4.
"This year's schedule is sure to bring a lot of excitement to the VSU Women's Soccer team," said Coach Andrews. "We will face some very formidable opponents who are sure to test our toughness—mentally, physically, and emotionally. We look forward to the challenge each team presents, and we expect to rise to the occasion for a very successful season."
