Ettrick, Va. (Jun. 25, 2025)- David Chavez has earned a spot on the VaSID Second Team. 

He won the CIAA Golf tournament as an individual scoring to go along with two other top three finishes and five other top 10 finishes. Chavez also qualified for the NCAA Atlantic/East Regional, marking the first time a Virginia State golfer had accomplished NCAA postseason play since the 2010-11 season. In the Atlantic region he was the 19th best golfer
