Erie, Pa. (May 10, 2025)- David Chavez competed in the NCAA Atlantic/East Regional in Erie at the Whispering Woods Country Club over the past three days. 

On day one Chavez finished at +11 shooting 83 shots overall which put him in a tie for 78th place. The second round of the tournament Chavez jumped up to 55th place after shooting +4 on 76 strokes. On the back nine he recorded four birdies in the final six holes. In the final day of the tournament Chavez finished in a tie for 42nd place after shooting +2 on 74 strokes. He finished the tournament +17 overall which was the fourth best out of the eight individuals invited.
