Ettrick, Va. (Mar. 26, 2025)- Both Dajour Rucker and Clint Wright Jr. of the Virginia State University Men's Basketball team have earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors.
To be eligible for the All-District team the player must've played in 90% of the games or started in 60% and hold a GPA of 3.5 or above.
Rucker is a junior forward who played in 28 games with 23 starts. He averaged 6.4 points per game and brought down 4 rebounds per game. Rucker is the VSU Orange Team for having a 4.0 GPA.
Wright Jr. Is a graduate guard who started in all 30 games this season. He averaged 11.7 points per game and scored his 1500 career collegiate point with the Trojans in the CIAA Tournament. In his one semester at VSU so far, he has earned a 4.0 GPA.
