Louisville, Ky. (May 9, 2024)- The NFCA has announced their All-Atlantic Region teams and Virginia State had two players land on the second team, pitcher Kara Green and outfielder Hailey Darrington. 

Green was the CIAA pitcher of the year. This season she went 9-2 with a 3.01 ERA with 44 strikeouts and 11 walks in 74.1 innings pitched. She pitched nine complete games and three shutouts.  

Darrington, the CIAA player of the year, was the leadoff hitter for the Trojans. Her slash line was .473/.615/.571 (average/slugging/on-base). She had 43 total hits, five doubles, four triples and nine RBI's. She is a perfect 13-13 in stolen bases this season.
