NEWPORT NEWS, VA- The VSU Women's Indoor Track and Field team will venture to Christopher Newport University for the Vince Brown Invitational on Jan. 29. Under the leadership of VSU's 1^st year Head Cross Country/ Track and Field Coach, Frank Hyland, the Trojans have improved meet by meet as they set their sights on the NCAA Championship.

Series History
This is not the women's indoor track and field team's first time participating in the Vince Brown Invitational. Last season the Trojans had several top performances, to include Glenda Jenkins with a first place 60M finish.  
Coach Hyland and the Trojans have been training in preparation for the Vince Brown Invitational, the CIAA Championship in February and the NCAA Championship in March.
