BRASELTON, GA– The VSU Trojan Golf team placed fifth in the HBCU Division Two Invitational.

The Trojans finished shooting +124 with a three-round total of 976 strokes while as their best round of the outing was round two when they ended with 322 strokes.

In his first collegiate golf match, Freshman Michael Ebosh finished first for the Trojans as he finished 13^th shooting +23 with a three-round stroke of 236. The second round was his best as he ended with just 75 strokes.

Juan Ruiz Patino finished in 15^th place shooting +25 with a three-round total of 238. In his first collegiate golf match, Tylen Wallace shot +33 and finished with a three-round total of 246 which placed him 19^th. In 27^th place came Aidan Robertson shooting +43 with a three-round total of 256 as the freshman completed his first collegiate golf match. Andrew Rhodes placed 30^th as he shot +49 while finishing with a three-round total of 262. In 32^nd place came Simeon Sledge who shot +54 finishing with a three-round stroke of 267. Esteban Arango shot +61 with a three-round total of 274 which place him 34^th.
 
The Trojans will be back in action Sunday and Monday, October 16-17 to compete in the Beechwood Collegiate Invitational in Ahoskie, NC on the Beechwood Country Club.
