BALTIMORE, MD - The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) announces the 2022 All-CIAA preseason women's basketball team and predicted order of finish, as voted on by the CIAA Women's Basketball Coaches Association and Sports Information Directors Association.

Virginia State University is picked to finish fifth in the Northern Division and 10
th overall. Lincoln (Pa.) was chosen to win the Norther Division and the conference title receiving seven first place votes while Johnson C. Smith was selected to take the Southern Division.

Nadine Domond is set to begin her inaugural season as the Head Women's Basketball Coach at Virginia State University. Prior to VSU, Coach Domond spent six seasons on the sidelines of the Rutgers women's basketball program as an assistant coach and was reunited with her collegiate coach, C. Vivian Stringer in joining the staff in 2016. Coach Domond has embodied her mantra "The Rebirth" as she brings new life and ideas to the VSU Women's Basketball Program.

VSU Women's Basketball team opens their season on the road November 11-12 as they prepare to take part in the Seton Hill Tip-off Classic. The Trojans are slated to play the hosts Seton Hill on the first day and Wheeling on the second day.
