AHOSKIE, NC– The VSU Trojan Golf team placed third in the Beechwood Collegiate Invitational.
The Trojans finished shooting +84 with a two-round total of 660 strokes while as their best round of the outing was round two when they ended with 328 strokes.

Juan Ruiz-Patino finished fourth for the Trojans shooting +10 with a two-round stroke of 154. The second round was his best as he ended with just 75 strokes.
Esteban Arango finished in 10
th place shooting +20 with a two-round total of 164.
Michael Ebosh shot +24 and finished with a two-round total of 168 which placed him 11
th. Tying for 15
th place was
Tylen Wallace shooting +27 with a two-round total of 171.
Aidan Robertson tied for 15
th as he shot +27 while finishing with a two-round total of 171. In 19
th place came
Andrew Rhodes who shot +34 finishing with a two-round stroke of 178.
Simeon Sledge shot +54 with a two-round total of 298 which placed him 20
th.
The Trojans will be back in action Monday and Tueday, October 24-25 to compete in the River City Collegiate Classic in Richmond, VA at the Belmont Golf Course hosted by Virginia Union.
