Box Score GREENEVILLE, Tenn. (November 19, 2018) – Chrisanna Green  poured in 18 points and 13 rebounds to record her fourth double-double of the season as the Virginia  State University women's basketball team suffered a 74-48 loss to Tusculum University tonight.
 
Virginia  State (3-2) trailed 20-15 after one quarter and the Lady Pioneers outscored the Trojans in the second, 17-8, as Tusculum took a 37-23 lead into the half. Tusculum (4-0) extended the margin to 54-31 after three periods and rolled to a 74-48 victory to earn its fourth win of the season.
Green scored 18 points in 30 minutes of play. The Jamestown, New York native was 5-of-12 from the line and finished with 13 rebounds, one assist and three blocks. 
Taylor Hayes finished the contest with nine points and four rebounds.
 
Mia Long and Sydney Wilson led three Tusculum players in double figures with all three contributing 39 total points. Long dished out 14 points and four rebounds. Wilson tallied 14 points, while Callie Patterson registered 11 points.

> Virginia State was 17-of-50 (34 percent) shooting and 11-of-26 (42.3 percent) from the charity stripe
> Tusculum shot 40.6 percent (28-of-69) from the floor and 70 percent (14-of-20) from the free-throw line
> VSU registered 41 rebounds, while Tusculum recorded 45 rebounds  
> Virginia State finished with 26 points in the paint, 6 points off 10 Tusculum turnovers and nine second-chance points
> Tusculum tallied 36 points in the paint, 31 points off 24 VSU turnovers and four second-chance points
