Box Score 1 ETTRICK, Va.- The Virginia State University softball team suffered a 7-0 loss to Salem International University on Sunday, February 21. The teams were supposed to face off in a double header matchup, but were rained out at the start of game 2.

Despite taking a loss, junior Marissa Hughes (Upper Marlboro, MD) had a great double play at the top of the 2^nd inning to send the SIU Tigers back to the dugout.

VSU will be back in action on Saturday February 27 and Sunday, February 28 for a 2-Day double header and single game match up against Shippensburg.
