Ettrick, Va (Sept. 25, 2025) --The Virginia State volleyball team got the job done in three sets (25-21, 25-23, 25-23) to beat the Bowie State Bulldogs Thursday at home at Multipurpose Center.
The conference victory improved Virginia State's record to 2-7 overall and 1-0 in CIAA play.
Amaya Cooper finished with 14 kills on the day to lead the Trojans offense while finishing with a hitting percentage of .522. got 13 digs from Kellee Craig to lead them defensively.
