Sparkhill, N.Y. (Apr. 13, 2025)- The Virginia State University Men's lacrosse team traveled to St. Thomas Aquinas College (3-7) for their final away match up of the season and dropped the game 16-7. 
The Spartans scored the first seven goals of the game before Miles Jackson and Andre Bigham netted goals in the middle of the second period. STAC would score three more goals in the second stanza to make it a 10-2 halftime score. The Spartans scored first in the third before Kalani Laughlin and Bigham scored two goals for VSU. Elijah Bryant netted two goals in the fourth and Donovan Elmore also scored in the final stanza. Jace Wiggins finished with 16 saves in goal. 
Virginia State drops to 3-10 overall and will finish their season on Friday April 18 at 5 p.m. against Catawba for their senior day.
