Ettrick, Va. (Mar. 4, 2025)-The Virginia State University Women's Lacrosse team welcomed Barton College into Rogers Stadium and were defeated 21-4.Â
After the first quarter the Bulldogs lead the Trojans 11-1 with Sophia Toye netting the goal for VSU. Then the only goal scored for Virginia State in the second quarter was Aniyah White, but BC still lead 15-2. In the third period both Skye Whiting and Toye scored for the Trojans, but the Trojans would be down 16-4 going into the final quarter.Â
Noel Johnson-Montoya lead the team with four ground balls and three caused turnovers. The Trojans drop to 1-4 overall and will travel to Tiffin University for a match on Saturday March 8 at 1 pm.Â
