Canton, Ohio (Mar. 29, 2025)- The Virginia State University Men's Lacrosse team dropped a 17-4 decision to Malone University. 

Andre Bigham and John Goebel scored the two goals for the Trojans in the opening period, but they would find themselves down 4-2. Bigham also scored the only goal in the second period for VSU as they went into the locker room down 7-3. The Pioneers outscored the Trojans 10-1 over the final 30 minutes with Miles Jackson scoring the only goal for VSU. 

Jayden Reid and Taariq Al Salam lead the Trojans with three ground balls each.  Jace Wiggins finished the game with 13 saves. Virginia State now drops to 3-9 overall on the season and end their road trip on Saturday April 12 at St. Thomas Aquinas at 1 pm.
