Ettrick, VA (March 23,2024)- Playing their last home game of the season, the Virginia State University men's lacrosse team dropped the ball 23 to 11 against Malone University.

Malone came off the bus ready to attack as for the first quarter they took off by scoring 3 points within the first 2 minutes of the game. Even though the Trojans scored 2 unassisted goals but it wasn't enough to hold off Malone as they returned a favor with 2 points to gain the lead for the 2
nd quarter.
The 2
nd quarter was in favor of Malone as they scored consecutively five times but with the helped of
Andre Bigham the scored an unassisted to help close the gap for the Trojans. But Malone was determined to gain the lead for half time as the score is now 13 to 4.

 In the last 15 minutes Malone decided to use all gas and brakes as they scored three times before the Trojans had decided to press the brake.
Elijah Bryant scored with the assist by
Carrington Blair to make the score 16 to 5 within the 3 minutes Trojans put another point in the board by
Kalani Laughlin with the help by
Elijah Bryant. Â Malone scored seven more times but Virginia State interrupted with five points.

Andre Bigham both lead the team with 5 ground balls.
Andre Bigham leads shot on goal with 14 points.Â
The team will play Saturday, April 13 at 1pm against Catawba College, Salisbury, NC.
