BALTIMORE, MD- The Trojans competed at the Morgan State Bears Legacy Meet and the Hopkins-Loyola University Invitational Saturday.

VSU runners spent Saturday at Morgan State as the jumpers and throwers competed at Hopkins Loyola. Inclement weather ended both events before the conclusion of the day. 

Jalen Brownlee finished third overall in the 1500m with a 4:12.04.
 
Savion Spencer ran a personal best in the 110m hurdles finishing in ninth place with a 15.78. He also ran a personal best in the 400m hurdles with a time of 58.90 for a tenth-place finish.
 
Jahaz Morgan jumped 6.88m (22'7) in the long jump to secure fifth place overall.
 
Mark Banberger finished third overall in the shot put with a 13.76m (45'01) and Christian Boone finished fourth overall in the shot put with a 13.33m (43'08).
 
Joseph Briscoe finished third overall in the high jump with a 1.88m (6'2).
 
Shaukeeme Mitchell-Watson finished seventh in the high jump with a 1.83m (6'0).
 
Daryl Mackey finished 9th in the Long jump 6.64m (21'05).
 
The Trojans will be back in action on Sunday, April 30 at the University of Virginia for the Virginia High Performance Meet in Charlottesville, VA.
