ETTRICK, Va. (August 18, 2017) - The 2017 college football season is upon us and media members from around the country have selected the 2017 BOXTOROW Preseason All-America Team. VSU's senior running back Trenton Cannon has secured a spot on the highly anticipated list.
 

As one of the anchors for the Trojan's offense, Cannon recorded 203 receiving yards, 23 passing yards, 449 kick return yarding, and 1866 all-purpose yards. He added 18 rushing touchdowns, two receiving touchdowns, and one kick return touchdown for the Trojans. In 2016, Cannon broke VSU's single season record with 1214 rushing yards. 

This is the 11th year BOXTOROW has administered the Preseason All-America Team.
