RESULTS
HAMPTON, Va.- The Virginia State University men's track and field team secured several top 5 finishes at the Hampton Relays, hosted by Hampton University, on April 16.
Inches shy of first place, sophomore
Dajawn Williams finished second in the men's high jump with a height of 2.03m.
Senior
Justin Williams and junior
Arthur Ashton took back to back finishes in the 110M hurdles. Williams ran in with a time of 14.39 placing second, while Ashton finished third with a time of 14.67.
Williams kept his momentum in the 400M Hurdles, taking the fourth place finish with a time of 53.92.
Sophomore
Bigal Harrison placed fifth in the men's 400M relay with a time of 48.65. Also earning a fifth place finish was sophomore
Richard Crick. In the men's triple jump, he finished with a range of 14.06m.
After several high marks thus far this season, the Trojans will compete in the 2016 IAA Championships on April 22-23 in Charlotte, NC.
