Greenwood, S.C. (Mar. 21, 2026)- The Virginia State men's lacrosse team opened Peach Belt play at Landr University and dropped its inaugural game 24-1.  

Lander opened the game scoring the first 13 goals until Chris Farmer got the Trojans on the board with a man up goal at 6:24 in the second quarter. The Bearcats would score the last 11 goals of the game.  

Jace Wiggins finished the game with 14 saves and three ground balls playing three quarters. 

The Trojans stay on the road to play the University of Montevallo on Saturday March 28 at 11:00 AM EST and 12:00 PM CST
