Ettrick, Va. (Jan. 7, 2025)- Two members of the Trojan Football team, Carl Poole Jr. and Gabe Navarro, have earned Academic All-District honors from the College Sports Communicators (CSC). To be eligible for the All District team the player must've played in 90% of the games or started in 60% and hold a gpa at 3.5 or above. 

Poole Jr. was a graduate linebacker that started in all 11 games. He recorded 44 tackles, 2 TFL, an interception and a pass break up in his final year. His best game this year came in the the regular season finally against Virginia Union where he recorded nine total tackles.

Navarro was a redshirt freshman offensive lineman that made started in 10 games this season at right tackle. 

This now makes six VSU student athlete's that have earned all-district honors from the CSC.
