Salem, Va (Oct. 24, 2024)- The Virginia State University Men's Cross country team entered Salem in a prime position to win the CIAA title and finished with four runners in the top 15 to win the title by one point over Fayetteville State 45-46.

DESMOND KIRWA ran a personal best time of 25:25.20in the 8km. He finished 3rd overall .
Emmanuel Williams finished 5th with a personal best time of 26:17.30.
Emmanuel Kipchirchir ran a season best of 26:41.6 in the 8k and he finished 6th overall
Jalen Brownlee ran a season best of 27:16.90. in the 8k and he finished 11th overall
Gabriel Miles ran a time of 28:30.90 . He finished 20th overall in the meet.
Cherno Jalloh ran a personal best time of 31:30. in the 8k and he finished 422nd overall.
Alizjah Koonce ran a personal best of 31:45. in the 8k. He finished 43rd overall.
