ETTRICK, VA- The Trojans are set to host the 2023 New South Athletic Conference Championship Tournament May 5-7 at Whaley Colbert Field.

The New South Athletic Conference currently houses the following four baseball teams:
Mid-Atlantic Christian University
Newport News Apprentice School 
Salem University
Virginia State University
 
Friday's tournament schedule will feature; 
3:00 pm The Apprentice School vs Mid-Atlantic Christian University
5:30 pm  VSU vs Salem University 
 
Last year the Trojans won the inaugural NSAC conference championship title defeating the Newport News Apprentice School 9-6 after falling to the Apprentice School in an earlier round.
 
"Every day is a new opportunity. You can build on yesterday's success or put its failures behind you and start over again," said sophomore Tahraun Hammond. 

Virginia State will be on the road Tuesday, May 2 for their final doubleheader of the regular season against the Newport News Apprentice School, game times are slated for 1 and 3 PM.
 
The Trojans are hoping to focus their sights forward and avoid the double-elimination format of tournament play to return to Sunday's championship game.
