ETTRICK, VA- The Virginia State University women's basketball team will matchup against the Lincoln University Lady Lions for their rescheduled contest on Monday, February 6. The CIAA matchup is set for 5:30pm at the VSU Multipurpose Center.
Series History
The VSU Trojans are 18-9 against the Lincoln Lady Lions in the series. The teams met last week on January 26, where VSU fell short of the win with a final road score of 76-58.

Scouting the Lincoln Lady Lions
Lincoln is 15-6 on the season, 9-2 in the CIAA after a Jan. 28 loss to Elizabeth City State University. The Lady Lions are averaging 69.8 points per game while allowing 64.8. Collectively, they are shooting 39.9% from the field, 31.2% from three-point range and 61% from the foul line. The Lady Lions average 41.4 rebounds and 12.3 assists per game. They are also averaging 18 turnovers per game while allowing opponents to score 17.8 points off of turnovers. They have averaged 9.5 steals and 1.6 blocks on the season. Anyssa Fields leads Lincoln averaging 15.7 points and 8 rebounds per game. Jaleesa Lanier leads the team in assists with 2.9 per game.
