Women's Cross Country

Deigh Sisters record another top 20 finish

Salem, Va.- The Virginia State University Women's cross-country team finished in sixth place at the Roanoke XC Invitational. Every Trojan who ran finished inside the top-100. 

Manuelene Deigh (23:37.7) and Manuela Deigh (23:50.0) both obtained a top-20 as they finished 12th and 17th places respectively. Alandina Hyppolite also finished inside the top-40 with a time of 25:03.8 which slotted her in 36th place. Emetem Bezezuh was in 78th place with a time of 27:31.1. The last two Trojans who finished were Emoni Coleman (28:27.6) and Sania Peterson (29:04.0) in 86th and 100th place. 

Next for the team will be the CIAA conference championship race on Thursday October 26.
