Newport News,Va. – Virginia State University's women's cross country team competed in the 6K at the CNU XC Invitational at the Lee Hall Mansion course on Friday evening. 

Leading the Trojans was Rose Muturi, who finished 7th in 23:35.38 beating out several Division 1 competitors. Next to finish was sophomore Ananda Hamlin, while Torie Satterwhite rounded out our top three.

Next up for the Trojans is the Cedric Walker HBCU Challenge on Oct. 3rd in Cary, N.C
