ETTRICK, VA – Virginia State Women's Basketball's, Trinity Moody, was recognized by the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association as the Food Lion's Week #8 Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week.

In the Trojans' 68-62 win over Barton last week, Moody scored a team-high and career-high 18 points off the bench. The first-year player earned another career-high 9-of-12 (75%) on free throws and 4-of-12 (33%) on field goals. The New Haven, CT also added three steals, three boards, and an assist in the win.
