Davis Selected to Washington Metro College Football Players of the Week Honor Roll

WASHINGTON, D.C. – After his performance last week, Jordan Davis was selected to be a part of the DC Touchdown Club Washington Metro College Football Players of the Week Honor Roll.
 
Jordan David leads the team with 481 yards and four touchdowns with just one interception in four games this season. Davis completes 60% of his passes and averages 120 yards per game after starting only one game this season. Davis has also assumed the Punter role this season as well, he has 11 punts for 360 yards while two of them landed inside the 20 and a pair went more than 50 yards. Last time out, Davis had a career day accounting for three total touchdowns as he ran two and threw one. He completed 18-of-30 passes for 251 yards and rushed 10 times for 50 yards in the win against LC.
 
The Virginia State Trojans are in for a huge matchup against the Shaw Bears who are currently undefeated in the conference and atop of the Southern Division standings. This weekend's game will be a pink out to honor the start of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The marquee matchup will also be Kids Day as well. Due to the forecasted rain, the matchup has been moved up to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 1
