ETTRICK, VA - The Virginia State University (VSU) Women's Cross Country team prepares to host their second and final home meet of the 2022 season in the annual Virginia State University Invitational. The meet will begin and end in Rogers stadium in Ettrick, VA. The women will be running a 5k at 4:00 p.m. which will be promptly followed by the men running an 8k at approximately 5:15 p.m.

Regent
Richard Bland
Shaw
St. Augustine's
Virginia Union
Washington Adventist
The women are going into this meet this Friday after accomplishing another perfect score of 15 in the Virginia Union Opener which placed them first last Friday. The women won averaging an overall time of 22:05.
In the Virginia Union Opener,
Manuelene Deigh led the Trojans after crossing the finish line in first place with a time of 21:32.02 with a 6:55.9 mile split. Her twin,
Manuela Deigh followed behind her with 21:39.40 with a 6:58.2 mile split, placing her second. Crossing the finish line in third was
Miracle Price, who ran a personal best with a time of 21:51.40 with a 7:02.1 mile split.
