PHILADELPHIA, PA - The Virginia State University golf team finished the 2022 PGA WORKS Minority Collegiate Championship with a team score of 1,036 while shooting +188. The Trojans finished the Championship in 10^th place.


Juan Ruiz - Patino tied for 18^th place with a three round stroke of 236 (81, 78, 77) and shot +24.

In 40^th place was Zahmel Wright shooting +45 with a three round stroke of 257 (84, 84, 89). Esteban Arango ended with a three round stroke 260 (87, 83, 90) and was +48 which allowed him to place 41st behind his teammate Wright. Andrew Rhodes finished in 47^th place shooting +71 with a three round stroke of 283 (95, 92, 96). Simeon Sledge ended with a three round stroke of 315 (101, 101, 113) and was +103 which allowed him to finish a place behind Rhodes in 48^th place.
