ETTRICK, VA  – The Trojans handled business in their two most recent road wins against Shaw Sunday afternoon. The Trojans beat the Bears 5-1 in first game and eight-run ruled them in game two 18-2.



Game 1
The Trojans were held scoreless throughout the first two innings of play but found life through the next two innings scoring two runs in the fourth and fifth innings to go up 5-0. The Bears fought back with a run in the bottom of the fourth inning to make it 5-1. The Trojans earned five runs on seven hits with no errors while the Bears scored one run on five hits with one error.

Game 2
The Trojans wasted no time getting after the Bears in the top of the first inning scoring five runs. Shaw went on to score a run in the bottom of the first inning to make the score 5-1. The Bears would go on to score a run in the bottom of the third inning to make it 5-2. Through the next two innings, the Trojans scored 13 unanswered runs to end the game in an eight-run rule. The Trojans won big over the Bears 18-2 in five innings of play.
