LASKER, NC– The VSU Trojan Golf team took home first place in the SAU Spring Round-Up on Sunday, March 6.

The Trojans finished the SAU Spring Round-Up with a one round total of 353 as the Trojans swiped first place. Elizabeth City State, finished in second place with a team stroke of 358, followed by St.Augustine's with a third place team stroke of 454.

Juan Ruiz - Patino led VSU with a one round stroke of 75 which, allowed him to place second of 17 golfers.

Andrew Rhodes tied for fourth place after posting a one round total of 87. Esteban Arango tied Rhodes for the fourth place slot as he posted an identical 87. Zahmel Wright finished 10^th after posting a score of 100 while Simeon Sledge finished in 11^th place with a score of 105.

The Trojans will be right back in the Valley Pine Country Club to compete in the SAU Spring Invitational on Monday, March 7.
