After holding the Bulldogs scoreless for nearly three innings, the home team scored their runner from third base on a double played turned by Tahraun Hammond and Joshua Tayman to give BC the lead 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth inning. In the bottom of the fifth inning, Barton added to their lead on a sacrifice fly ball to right field to make it 3-1. The Bulldogs would stay hot in the bottom of the fifth inning scoring on yet another double play turned by Christian Henderson. Later that inning, they scored on a wild pitch right before scoring on a fielding error to make the score 6-1. The Trojans would shorten the lead in the bottom of the eighth inning as Nicholas Woolfolk scored while Tahraun Hammond picked up the RBI. The hot bat of Dawsyn Hock doubled down the right field line to score Ricky Jones to make the it 6-3.
