BALTIMORE, MD. –  The No. 11 seeded Virginia State women's basketball team is set to take on Bowie State in the 2022 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Women's Basketball Tournament Quarterfinals Thursday, Feb. 24 at 2:00 p.m.
 

The winner will advance to the semifinals on Friday, Feb. 25 and see no. 2 seeded Elizabeth City State at 12 noon.

Bowie State and Virginia State met twice during the regular season with the Bulldogs taking the win in both of the matchups. The Trojans still have a salty taste in their mouths after BSU spoiled their Senior Night in a double overtime thriller, which ended with the Bulldogs scoring 65 to the VSU's 64.
