About Lock Haven
The Lock Haven Bald Eagles are 1-2 on the season after falling short to #13 UMO in a season opening doubleheader. That being said, the Bald Eagles avoided the sweep on the second day of the series beating UMO, 8-4, to give them their first win of the year. Even against a nationally ranked team, the Bald Eagles were able to hit an astounding .333 from the plate and accumulated 40 hits so far this season. On the flip side, the Bald Eagles drew only nine walks and struck out 35 times. The pitching rotation got off to a rather rough start to the season leaving North Carolina with an ERA of 9.36. The LHU pitchers gave up 26 earned runs and walked 24 batters. Jake Mastillo totes the most powerful swing in the country right now as he has hit a homerun in all three games this season as he leads his squad with four homeruns (Leads the nation) and eight RBI. Matt Lingenfelter is the ace of the rotation as he has pitched the most innings on the team (4.2) and leads the team in with an ERA (0.00) and four strikeouts.
