SALEM, WV – The Virginia State Women's Basketball team returns to the court after scoring 104 points (most since 2016) their last time out against Virginia University – Lynchburg. The Trojans rolled over the Lady Dragons 104-36 Sunday afternoon. The squad will look to carry their recent momentum over into this week as they travel to West Virginia to face Salem on Tuesday, November 29 at 2:00 p.m.

The Trojans are 8-1 against the Lady Tigers in matchups dating back to 2010. The Trojans won the first eight matchups but lost the most recent in 2019, 92-86.
Self Scout
The Trojans are 3-3 on the season and look to earn their first road win of the season. The squad currently shoots 36% from the field and is plus eight in the scoring margin (third in conference) averaging 61 points per contest. They rank second in the conference in free throw percentage knocking down 70% of their shots from the foul line.
