Nadine Domond will have a huge welcome to the VSU Multipurpose center as she prepares for the CIAA/SIAC Challenge. The Trojans enter the matchup coming off a very humbling 57-34 against Chowan Wednesday night to make them 1-2. The Trojans will have a date with Benedict on Friday, November 18 at 8:00 p.m. and Edward Waters (Fla.) Saturday, November 19 at 4:00 p.m.

Last Time Out
The Trojans plan to bounce back as played in a non-conference matchup against Chowan University on Wednesday falling to the Hawks 57-34. The Trojans struggled to rebound the ball as they allowed 32 points off second chance opportunities and were out rebounded 65 to 30.

Shayla Sweeney leads the team in scoring with 12 points per game while shooting 55% from the field. She also leads the team in free throws made with 15.
Kylah Webb leads the team on defense as she has a team-high 20 rebounds averaging 6.7 per game and along with four blocks. The sharpshooting pickpocket
Sommer Blakemore leads the team with seven steals. She also brings down six rebounds.
Raija Todd has also shown versatility averaging 10 points per game and leads the team with six assists.
Scouting the Tigers
The Tigers enters the challenge with a 2-0 record with their last win coming against Clinton College. Their offensive leader is Mahogany Randall as she has a team-high 35 points on the season so far averaging 17.5 per game while shooting 32% from the court. She also adds a team-high 22 free throws made. Defensively Shekera Duncan and Leila Henderson lead the team in rebounds with 20 apiece and Taia Gattis leads the team in blocks with five. The Tigers average 67 points per game and shoot 30% as a team.
Scouting Edward Waters
Edward Waters comes into the challenge with a 2-0 record with their last win coming against the College of Coastal Georgia. The Tigers have a veteran team as it consists of nine Juniors, three Seniors and one Sophomore. Their entire team consists of players above the 5'5 height mark with only one player being 5'2.
