ETTRICK, VA – The VSU Volleyball team showed valiant effort against the Vikings of Elizabeth City State who remains perfect in conference play (18-25, 26-24, 13-25, 19-25).


Game Notes

• Amaya Cooper has now earned double-digit kills three of her last four matches after earning a team-high 12 while finishing with a .391 hitting percentage. Helena Eubanks earned 10 kills in the contest as well.
• Zaria Irons and Najlaa Williams each lead the team with a pair of service aces each.
• Alexis McNair earned a season-high three blocks in the contest while Zaria Irons and Kelsea Saulny.
• Emma Quarles led the team with 19 assists while her counterpart Makenzy Johnson ended with 13.
• Najlaa Williams was all over the court earning a match-high 15 digs while Kennedy Hoge ended with 10.

 

What's Next
The Trojans will look to bounce back on Senior Night Thursday, October 27 at 6:00 p.m. against Virginia Union.
